“The Autumn Girl’s Path”

You know that saying, “it’s about the journey, not the destination”?

There are a lot of pathways in my art sources.

So here I am, self-analyzing my fascination with them 😁

I tend to want to just get sh*t done. Solve the problem, don’t make excuses, take responsibility, be quick about making decisions and move fast. Look forward to the reward at the end.

And I don’t have a lot of patience for indecisiveness and excuses.

Maybe I need the reminder that the pathway is the present and the destination is the future that doesn’t exist.

Even though I know this, maybe I need to paint them to make them real.

Because what I do know, is that we create our world from our experiences and beliefs.

I hope when you see this painting, you remember to see life’s journey along the path, rather than always living in the future destination that doesn’t exist yet.
